We are delighted to work with The National Galllery of Ireland on the pollinator flower strip and developing a staff garden area. The initial planting was carried out to coincide with the re-opening of the gallery after extensive renovation. The idea of the pollinator strip is to provide a diverse nectar source of bees and othe pollinators in the city.
We are also working with staff members to establish a staff garden and to train staff members to look after their garden. This will give the staff the opportunity to experience the physical and mental health benefits of gardening.
All the plants were grown by participants on The New Growth Project at The Garden School in Marlay Park.
the planting was done by participants and volunteers over two days in May.
